Collection – White on White

My White on White images are an extension of the An Interesting Plainness collection but one that started as a personal technical challenge as well. Printing traditional darkroom prints that are mostly white, or high value, poses the difficult technical problem of retaining detail and subtlety in the print. A few years ago, I decided to challenge myself to see if I could produce these subtle yet still detailed images within the framework of an interesting plainness and hence the White on White collection was created.
