Artist Statement:
This is Bear, a cute little draft pony owned by a very good friend of mine. Bear is about 8 years old and full of mischief. He loves to be loved on and to be out on the trails.
Bear had a hard life as an amish cart horse before he came to live in Bedford. He spent a short amount of time in Colorado where he was started under saddle and learned how to heard cattle. We don’t know much else about his background. I love to photograph this little guy, and I think he loves to be in front of the camera too!
