Janice Mauro
Janice Mauro is a fellow member of the National Sculpture Society, a Silvermine Guild Member, Sculptors Guild of NYC and NAWA. She has been an instructor in the arts for many years, has created various private commissions and attended residency programs. Her award winning sculpture has been shown nationally and internationally, and also included in several permanent collections. She has created works featured in various notable Broadway Productions, such as The Lion King. She began her career as a studio assistant for Richard McDermott Miller, a renowned figurative sculptor based in New York City. Currently, she works from her wooded home studio in Connecticut, which serves as inspiration for her creations.
