HOLIDAY SHOW 2024
December 10, 2024 – January 12, 2025
A third installation of the annual holiday exhibition at Chroma Fine Art Gallery is underway from December 10, 2024 – January 12, 2025! The festive exhibition, serves to commemorate past, present, and future. Sigillaria refers to small clay or wax figurines which were given as traditional gifts by the ancient Romans during the month of December. “This exhibition recognizes and celebrates our creative community,” reflects Rita Baunok, owner of Chroma and a photographer in her own right. “As 2024 comes to a close we can be proud of a wonderful year, and we look forward to the exciting opportunities that lie ahead in 2025!”
In the spirit of the season, many artful small and big treasures can be found, which makes Chroma the perfect place to find unique gifts (while supporting the local art scene)! You can find paintings, mixed media works, hand-pulled prints, photographs, sculptures, and glass art. “There is a wide range of work, as you can imagine,” Baunok explains of the featured artists. “But they are united by the abundance of talent and creativity in this region, and that is something we celebrate all year round.” You are invited to meet and mingle with the art crowd at Chroma for a festive reception (and some inspired gift-giving ideas) on December 14 from 3-7pm.
The over 30 artists on view include: Alissa Leigh, Andrea Rowan, Angela Rustici, Arnold Kastenbaum, Bracken Feldman, Bruce Dunbar, Carol Bouyoucos, Catherine Caulfield Russell, Danny Delaney, Edward Giobbi, Inness Hancock, Jacqueline Lorieo, Jen Badalamenti, John Plunkett, Joshua|2, June Ahrens, Kathleen Carlson, Kelly Schwark, Larry Davis, Marilyn D.
