Artist Statement
As an artist, both in architecture and ceramics, I am inspired in transforming an idea into a functional reality. Firing with the traditional Raku method ensures a uniqueness and special quality to each piece. I aim to create smooth, organic and sensual lines, which should be enjoyable and pleasing to the eye. My pots are more than pieces of art, and I want them to be used, nurtured and enjoyed so that they bring comfort and pleasure always.
