ARTIST STATEMENT
Shadows Around the House
I was always fascinated by the science behind photography the physics and the chemistry. I like the physical operation of the camera and printmaking as well. The print – the 3D object – is very important for me. I also appreciate the science behind image-making and like to work with my hands in crafting the final photograph.
I have been printing on diļ¬erent kinds of surfaces using contemporary materials determining the ones that suit my work best. The series of Shadows Around the House was printed as silk screen print on Arches Platine paper.
