Artis Statement –
Every vessel contains its own spirit as well as beauty. The vessels are painted with paper pulp from handmade papers from around the world. The paper is soaked in a special formula to break it down into a paste-like pulp. Then they are painted by hand with the pulp. This process has to be done in at a quick inspirational pace, one has to believe that every piece of pulp is in its rightful place on the recycled vessels. Once dried, the vessels are sanded like a veneer and then sealed with a sealant for protection from weather, UV rays and are durable as well as beautiful.
