Pratibha Garewal

A CPA by profession, Garewal turned to art after having a brain tumor removed in 1999. “I decided to take a change of pace and indulge my artistic urges more. Since then, I spend most of each day painting and being inspired by nature.”

Pratibha’s primary medium consists of watercolors, but she has created several multimedia pieces, having forayed into the work of acrylics and alcohol inks.

She consistently exhibits at the Arts to the Avenue in Connecticut and with the Northern Westchester Art League in New York. Her paintings have been hung on display at the Katonah Museum as well as the Northern Westchester & Sloan Kettering Hospitals for the last several years. Additionally, she has been selected to participate in international art shows held by the Watercolor Society of Alabama, the Watercolor Society of Georgia, and the Northeast Watercolor Society of Kent.
